The psychological thriller follows Sindhu(Vedhika) is a young woman who is in constant fear of someone following her. At the same time, she is also seen in a mental asylum waiting for her boyfriend Sampath. This constant fear of someone following her has a reason and it is related to her childhood. Where did Sampath go? What is the backstory? What issues does Sindhu have? That forms the story of Fear.
Vedhika’s psychological thriller has created a quite good buzz with earning more than 70 awards at various international film festivals. Also, Fear has created interest in the movie as the teaser and trailer were impressive.
Hindustan Time wrote,” Overall Fear is an engaging movie despite its few minuses. In fact Fear’s story line and concept is unique. However, Kasta seems to have hesitated in presenting it. Engaging scenes and thrilling visuals in the movie are mostly good. Especially, the mood and feel of the psychological suspense thrillers have been brought very well with the BGM.” Telugu Bulliten wrote,” Overall, Fear is a new-age thriller that has a decent concept. The last fifteen minutes of the film are also good. The film stars Vedika, Arvind Krishna, Pavitra Lokesh, Jayaprakash, Anish Kuruvilla, Sayaji Shinde, Sahithi Dasari, Sathya Krishna, Bigg Boss Shani etc. The film’s music is composed by Anup Rubens ,cinematography by Andrew and funded by Vanki Penhalaya, and AR Abhi.
