Who Dubbed for Rishab Shetty: Rishab Shetty’s long-awaited Kantara: Chapter 1 indeed hit the global theatres. Reentering the mystical world of 2022 that so well enthralled the audience. Rishab Shetty’s character was dubbed in Tamil by the able-bodied actor Manikandan. Manikandan received high praise from Rishab himself for his mimicry and understated acting. He spoke to Behindwoods and said:
“Manikandan is my favourite. He doesn’t just mimic a voice; he captures the essence and body language of the person too.”
Rishab went on to explain how they could work together after the formalities of the dubbing union were taken care of. He expressed his joy to have collaborated with an artist he admires so much.
While the Tamil dubbing artist has been confirmed, more mystery remains for the Telugu version. So far, the makers have not revealed who dubbed for Rishab Shetty in the Telugu version of Kantara: Chapter 1. Given the level of the project, the role would most probably be given to an experienced dubbing artist who would match the intensity and rustic feel of Rishab’s performance.
