Following the historic success of mass action entertainers KGF and KGF 2, Yash has collaborated with Kannada’s critically acclaimed and National Award winning director Geethu Mohandas for a gangster thriller starring akongside Kiara Advani and Nayanthara.
Toxic is currently in production, with the goal of releasing the action film in 2025. Pinkvilla has exclusively learned that Yash and his production partners, KVN, intend to make Toxic a global enterprise. According to reports, Yash and KVN Productions are in talks with 20th Century Fox about becoming the mafia drama’s international distributor. “The conversations are in the early stages, but the goal is to make Toxic a global initiative. Yash believes that the story-telling pattern and visuals of Toxic are on par with worldwide projects and is looking at the possibility of collaborating with a global behemoth for a large release,” according to a source close to the project.
It is said that soon makers will make an announcement regrading Toxic’s international distribution of , as negotiations with several productions continue, 20th Century Fox remains at the forefront. Toxic is set to hit theatres in December 2025, according to Yash and Geethu Mohandas. The specific date has not yet been determined, and the producers will make a decision when the shoot nears completion.
Toxic was expected to hit the silver screens worldwide on April 10th 2025 , which has been delayed and will no longer be on April 10, 2025. The film’s new release date has not yet been announced. In a recent conversation with media actor Yash confirmed that the release was delayed due to scheduling conflicts with the cast.
