IPL 2025 Opening Ceremony: Date, Time and Venue

The IPL 2025 opening ceremony will take place On March 22, 2025, at 6:00 PM IST. Right before the season’s opening match between the reigning champion Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). The tournament, which will be held in Kolkata’s famous Eden Gardens. It will set the tone for an exciting season including 74 matches spread over 13 Indian venues until May 25, 2025. Celebrities attending the opening ceremony:
According to the sources, Bollywood stars Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, and singer Arijit Singh are going to perform in the opening ceremony. KKR Co-owner Shah Rukh Khan is going to attend and cheer up for his team. Apart from them, Salman Khan is also going to attend this ceremony, it is expected that he is going to promote his upcoming film, Sikandar.

Apart from these celebrities, Priyanka Chopra, Varun Dhawan, and  Shraddha Kapoor are also going to attend this opening ceremony. These celebrities are expected to perform in the opening ceremony in the evening of entertainment.

This guest list doesn’t stop there, it is also expected that Vicky Kaushal and Sanjay Dutt are also going to attend this event. There is a possibility that the American band OneRepublic, which promises a blend of Bollywood and Western influences, is an unexpected twist that might completely change the IPL opening experience.
