Hardik reacted angrily, posting a thorough statement on social media in which he expressed dissatisfaction and urged photographers to treat people with fundamental decency. Living in the spotlight naturally attracts attention, he wrote, but what transpired this time “crossed a line.”

Hardik explained that Mahieka was simply walking down a staircase when paparazzi chose an angle “no woman deserves to be photographed from.” He called the act cheap sensationalism and said it turned a private moment into something disrespectful.

He emphasised that this issue isn’t about headlines or viral content but about dignity and boundaries. “Women deserve respect. Everyone deserves boundaries,” he stated. Hardik also addressed media professionals directly, acknowledging their hard work and saying he always cooperates with them. However, he urged them to be more mindful and avoid capturing every angle just for the sake of engagement.

“Not everything needs to be captured. Not every angle needs to be taken,” he wrote, ending with an appeal to keep “humanity in this game.” His statement is now going viral, with many fans supporting him and demanding stricter guidelines for paparazzi behaviour.
