ICC Champions Trophy 2025 FINAL: India faces New Zealand


So it is India vs New Zealand in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final. The Men in Blue will face the Black Caps this Sunday, 9 March, at the Dubai International Stadium. While this is India’s fifth final appearance in the Mini World Cup, India won the title twice. Having won the ICC Champions Trophy final once, the Kiwis will have their eyes on the second. The fight between India and New Zealand guarantees to be a blockbuster contest.

Team India defeated Australia in the first semifinal and qualified for the finals. A terrific knock from chase master Virat Kohli guided India to a stunning victory. The last time India won the Champions Trophy was in 2013 under MS Dhoni’s leadership. India lost to Pakistan in the previous edition and would like to win the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.


New Zealand beat South Africa in the second semifinal by 50 runs and sealed the final spot. Brilliant centuries from Kane Williamson and Rachin Ravindra helped them to post a mammoth 362 on the board. South Africa failed to chase the score and the Kiwis sealed the final spot.

India and New Zealand will fight this Sunday for the ICC Championship Trophy 2025. Although India enters as a favorite, anything can happen in this glorious game of uncertainty.
