IPL 2025: Road Diversion and Restraints for SRH vs DC match In Hyderabad

IPL 2025 SRH vs DC: As IPL 2025 gathers pace, Hyderabad is to have an electrifying match. Between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium today. As the stadium is to be surrounded by thousands of cricket fans, the Rachakonda Police have made required traffic restrictions and diversions in place to facilitate smooth vehicular movement and crowd management.

Traffic Restrictions in Place

For decongestion and increased security, different traffic changes have been made by the authorities surrounding and within the stadium. Passengers on Uppal, Habsiguda, and LB Nagar are humbly requested to follow the following changes:

Off-Limit Access: Vehicles with match-ticket or passes will be permitted close to the edge of the stadium.

Limited Parking Space: Special parking areas have been marked for spectators, and unauthorized parking near the grounds will be regulated stringently.

Use of Public Transport Promoted: The use of Metro services or public transport is encouraged to avoid delays.

Traffic Diversion of Importance

Several major routes have been diverted to minimize congestion during match hours:

Habsiguda traffic will be diverted off the Uppal Junction to avoid congestion by heavy pedestrian traffic.

Traffic heading towards LB Nagar via Stadium Road will be routed through Nagole or Inner Ring Road to prevent traffic congestion.

Alternative routes from Tarnaka and Nacharam will enable free flow of traffic around the stadium.

Safety and Crowd Management
Besides traffic management, security checks have been stepped up at all entry points by the police department:

Drone surveillance and CCTV scans will ensure safety to citizens in public places.

Emergency response teams will be present at all major locations in order to handle any unexpected situation.

Pedestrian paths have been clearly marked in order to avoid traffic congestion.
