There are numerous rumors that Mary Kom and her spouse Karung Onkholer, also known as Onler, are having marital problems and are allegedly living apart. How Onler and Mary Kom met:
Mary Kom and Onler first met in Delhi in the year 2000. When Mary lost her suitcase while traveling for a competition, Onler, a student at Delhi University’s Law Faculty, came to her aid. The two soon fell in love and began dating; they were married in 2005. They became parents in 2007 when their twin sons arrived, and they had another son in 2013. Mary had always desired a daughter, so in 2018, the couple adopted a girl.
Onler reportedly aspired to play football professionally. But in order to help Mary Kom in her boxing career, he took a backseat and helped raise their kids and take care of their home.
