SRH vs LSG Game 7 of TATA IPL 2025
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) is the only franchise in IPL 2025 that grabs everyone’s attention, no matter which team they support. The demonic lineup, as fans fondly call it, SRH bolstered its prominence as an explosive batting powerhouse. SRH scored 286 in its campaign opener against Rajasthan Royals in Hyderabad reaffirming it. Inherently, today’s match of SRH vs LSG at the same venue guarantees to be a blockbuster game.
Undoubtedly, SRH is a formidable unit and strong contender in Tata IPL 2025. SRH revealed its intention clearly when it retained Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, Heinrich Klaasen, Nitish Kumar Reddy, and Pat Cummins. The team spent 11.25 Crores on Ishan Kishan and 10.25 on Mohammed Shami to further strengthen its solid batting lineup and bowling attack. Ishan Kishan’s addition proved right when he added fire to the fuel with a century and guided the team to post 286 on the board.
On the other hand, LSG suffered a humiliating defeat against Delhi Capitals on Monday and would like to register its first win in Hyderabad today. Despite scoring 209 runs and achieving initial breakthroughs, LSG lost to Delhi. At one stage, Delhi was 65/5, and it appeared LSG would register a comfortable win. However, Ashutosh Sharma and Vipraj Nigam, batting down the order, turned the tables and clinched a memorable victory for their team.
LSG also boasts explosive batters like Rishabh Pant, Nicholas Pooran, Mitchell Marsh, Aiden Markram, and David Miller in its squad. Despite losing Aiden Markram early, Marsh and Pooran scored runs at a brisk pace. Both maintained a 200-plus strike rate throughout their innings. With Shardul Thakur and Ravi Bishnoi, bowling looks brilliant. While the bowlers succeeded in providing initial breakthroughs, they failed to restrict Ashutosh Sharma and Vipraj Nigam, who stole victory from a loss.
The clash of SRH vs LSG promises to be a thrilling entertainer. Will SRH repeat the same what they often do effortlessly or LSG devise a plan to stop them?
