New Cricket Format Test Twenty: Player Rules & Full Details Inside

Test Twenty Format: Test Twenty, an 80-over format that combines the excitement of Twenty20 cricket with the substance of Test cricket, is the fifth new format to be introduced after Tests, One-Dayers, T20s, and T10. Teams will compete in four innings of twenty overs each in the Test Twenty, which is targeted for young cricket players between the ages of thirteen and nineteen. Similar to Test cricket, the matches will be played with a red ball and in whites.

Test Twenty Format:

Test Twenty is the complete opposite of conventional cricket. This competition is going to combine the Test and Twenty20 forms. As per the rules, each team is allowed to bowl four Powerplay overs in the Test Twenty. If a side leads by 75 runs or more in the first innings, they can force a follow-on. Over the course of the match, a maximum of five bowlers will be permitted to bowl, with each bowler being permitted to bowl up to eight overs. The conventional results of win, lose, tie, or draw are still used in the format.
