Honor formally launched its new flagship series. The debut of the Honor Magic 8 series took place on Wednesday. The two powerful new smartphones make up the series. The company unveiled the first two models of the series, the Honor Magic 8 and the Magic 8 Pro. In both smartphones, the front and back cameras are the real showstoppers.
The latest Snapdragon chip is the heart of both models. They feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. With this, the phones run very fast and are very energy-efficient. The devices also come with the latest Android 16 out of the box. The phones are based on Honor’s own MagicOS 10 platform.

The regular version features a 6.58-inch display. It is a Full HD+ panel with 120Hz. The panel can also be very bright, up to 6,000 nits peak brightness. Its camera system is also triple. The main camera is a 50MP and the ultra-wide one is 50MP as well. A 64MP sensor is used as a telephoto camera. It offers 100x optical zoom capabilities. The battery capacity of this model is 7,000mAh. 90W wired and 80W wireless charging are supported. The phone weighs approximately 205 grams.
The price of the Honor Magic 8 is beginning with CNY 4,499. This means the base model is priced at approximately ₹55,600. The launch price of the Honor Magic 8 Pro is a bit higher. Its first model is worth CNY 5,699 (₹70,300 approx.). Both phones are available in numerous colors. Purchasers can take their pick of Azure Glaze or Snow White. Besides these two, there are also Sunrise Gold and Velvet Black color options.
The Honor Magic 8 series is all about pushing the limits. It comes with the latest and the most powerful chipset and advanced camera modules. The photographic razor-sharpness is where the Pro model excels. The regular model comes with a balanced and complete flagship user experience. Both devices come with very big batteries.
