Honor has released a new smartphone called the Play 70 Plus in China. This phone has several powerful features as well as a large battery.
The smartphone has a large 6.77-inch HD+ display. The Play 70 Plus has a 720 x 1610 pixels display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The screen provides a brightness of up to 700 nits too. It also has solid protection with its Aluminosilicate glass. Consumers can select from four colors of this model: Jade Dragon Snow, Phantom Night Black, Quicksand Pink, and Xiaoshanqing.
Performance and Storage
The Play 70 Plus comes with the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chip. The Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chip includes a Qualcomm Adreno A619 GPU. The smartphone’s RAM is 12GB, so consumers can expect smooth multitasking. Consumers can choose two storage options, 256GB storage or 512GB storage; consumers can hold many files, videos, and apps.
One of the best features of the smartphone is the 7,000mAh battery. The Play 70 Plus supports 45W fast charging. Consumers can enjoy long hours of uninterrupted usage without needing to charge their smartphone too frequently.
The smartphone comes with a single rear camera at 50MP with an f/1.8 aperture. The single rear camera comes equipped with registered location tags, so just in case consumers want to capture the picture location, this feature helps to capture clear and sharp pictures. The selfie camera on the front is 5MP with an f/2.2 aperture. The front camera supports face recognition to unlock the phone. Both the rear and front cameras can be equipped with31 AI features, such as AI Eliminate and AI Expand Image.
The Honor Play 70 Plus has a rating of IP65. This indicates that the phone is splash-proof and dust-proof. The device has also received a five-star certification for drop resistance.
Connectivity includes 4G, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C, NFC, OTG and various GPS navigation systems Beidou and Galileo, among others. Important sensors include an fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, compass and ambient light sensor.
The device uses two stereo speakers. The Histen 7.3 sound system has great audio quality. The Honor Play 70 Plus has the ability to use dual SIM (Nano + Nano).

The base model (12GB + 256GB) is priced at CNY 1,399 (approx ₹17,000). The upper model (12GB + 512GB) is price at CNY 1,599 (approx ₹19,000). It is available in China only at this time.
