Huawei launched the Mate XTs on Thursday, which represents a revolution in triple-fold form factor smartphones. The device is live in China with a Kirin 9020 chip option for supporting mobile billings. The device features a 5,600mAh battery to power this – and the design concept is also excellent while both were also refreshing. The Mate XTs has a 6.4-inch single-mode screen; a 7.9-inch dual-mode display from top and bottom to middle; and 10.2-inch tablet form factor in its fully flat mode. The Mate XTs has full support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth. It supports NFC, satellite communication, and, to charge the device, a USB Type-C port. Ultra-wideband (UWB) support helps add connectivity as well. To ease security, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor is there to assure the user is secure as they are navigating their phone. Huawei has launched the Mate XTs in China. The 16GB + 256GB model will cost CNY 17,999 (Rs. 2,22,500). The 512GB model retails for CNY 19,999 (Rs. 2,46,900). The 1TB model cost is CNY 21,999 (Rs. 2,71,700). This device is available in colors white, purple, red, and black. Sales will start on September 5 first on Huawei’s e-store.
Folded, the Mate XTs is only 3.6mm thick with a weight of ~298 grams. A dual-hinge fold for a smooth folding design makes the Mate XTs portable while maintaining stability. The Mate XTs feels premium in one’s hands meant for daily use so it offers great durability.
