India’s First AI Smart Glasses With UPI Feature Coming Soon On Lenskart

 


Lenskart has plans to launch smart glasses that will be the first in India and powered by artificial intelligence. The company is looking to release them in December. They will feature many exciting and enhanced features, and they will change the way Indian consumers use eyewear products.

 


Smart features and capabilities

These glasses will be deeply embedded with artificial intelligence, and users will be able to conduct UPI payments directly from the glasses. They will provide health and wellness information. Smart glasses will offer shopping and conversation facilitation to users. They will be more than just vision aids. They will inspire the use of conventional eyewear as a daily utility therefore facilitating experience.

 

Powerful technology inside

These glasses will be developed on Gemini AI platform by Lenskart, and they will likely used the Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 Gen-1. This thread of technology will provide advanced capabilities. We do not as of yet have a definitive price of the smart glasses as the company is working on a final price.

 

Focussed on the Indian Market

Lenskart is keen to secure its place in the overtake of smart glasses growing rapidly. They will include a reasonable price for Indian consumers. The glasses will compete alongside Meta Ray-Ban and Amazon Echo Frames. However, Lenskart being an Indian company has an added advantage, as they understand the local market better in terms of the consumer’s desires.

 

IPO and Future Plans

The Initial Public Offering for Lenskart is currently on the market and set to close on November 4th. The company will list its shares on November 10th. The smart glasses will likely launch after this listing event.
