Apple has begun releasing iOS 26 Public Beta 2. This allows early users to check out some of the upcoming features. The final version of iOS 26 will also be made available at the launch of the new iPhone 17 series, which is expected to take place in September 2025. Apple generally will launch new iOS updates before newly released iPhones hit store shelves. With the expected launch of the iPhone 17 series on or around September 9, 2025, the release and launch of iOS 26 will likely take place sometime between September 15th and September 19th.
