Itel has launched a new low-cost smartphone in India. The A100C is an entry-level device. It boasts a 90Hz display and a sizable battery. This phone also includes Bluetooth calling functionality without a network present.
This smartphone includes a 6.6-inch display. The display features a 90Hz refresh rate, which provides smooth scrolling. The display is 720×1612 pixels. The typical brightness reaches 400 nits and the screen-to-body ratio is roughly 90%.
This device is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T7100 processor. It comes standard with 4GB of RAM. There is also an additional 8GB of extended RAM. The internal storage on the phone measures 128GB. This should be enough for most users.
A rear-facing 8MP primary sensor takes care of background photography. Selfies are taken using a 5MP front camera. The camera space resembles the upcoming OnePlus 15. This is an uncomplicated design for necessity.
The phone runs on Android 15 Go edition and utilizes Itel’s OS 15 as a skin. A 5000mAh battery provides the phone power. It uses USB Type C port for charging and claims 32 days of stand by time.
Itel has certified this smartphone to the MIL-STD-810H military-grade standard. It can withstand high heat and humidity, and it has passed a drop test from a height of 1.22 meters. The device is designed to be very well constructed.
Using UltraLink, you can make Bluetooth calls with no cellular service. You can also send Bluetooth messages. The built-in infrared remote allows you to control a variety of home appliances, which is a nice feature to have.
It unlocks with an easily located fingerprint sensor located on the side of the phone, and it has facial recognition. DTS tuning enhances the phone’s audio. Its 8.49mm thickness provides a comfortable grip.
It is available in four colours: Pure Black, Titanium Gold, Blaze Blue, and Silk Green. Itel has it listed for sale on its official website, but the price has not yet been confirmed.
