Jio vs Airtel:
Reliance Jio continues to grow strongly in the telecom market of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The latest data from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) shows that Jio is performing well in both wireless mobile services and wireline broadband services. With more new customers joining the network every month, Jio is expanding its reach and proving its dominance in the region.
Airtel also performed well by adding around 12,000 new wireline users. BSNL recorded only a small growth, while Vodafone Idea lost users, indicating that people are shifting towards faster networks like JioFiber.
In the wireless mobile market, Jio added around 1.17 lakh new subscribers in September 2025. With this, the total number of Jio mobile users in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana is now over 3.18 crore. This strong gain once again helped Jio become the top-growing mobile operator in these two states.
Airtel continues to have a strong base with above 3.43 crore subscribers and added nearly 40,000 new users in the same month. BSNL also saw an increase, mainly due to its services in rural areas and affordable plans. Vodafone Idea, however, again faced a drop by losing almost 70,000 customers.
With continued improvement in 5G readiness, fiber connectivity, and digital services, Jio is strengthening its leadership in the telecom market. More people are choosing Jio for high-speed mobile and broadband services, showing that the company has become their first preference.
As technology needs grow day by day, reliable and fast networks are becoming essential. Jio aims to support both personal users and enterprise customers with powerful digital solutions. This strong performance makes it clear that Jio is leading the telecom race in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
