Lenovo has introduced the Legion R7000 (2025) gaming laptop in China, packing powerful hardware and a high refresh rate display.
Lenovo has priced the Legion R7000 (2025) at CNY 7,499 (approx. ₹91,500). It is available at Lenovo’s Chinese store and JD.com. The Legion R7000 (2025) is available in Carbon Black colour option only.
At 15.3 inches, this 2.5K Legion R7000 display has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. It is 180Hz in terms of refresh rate and 3ms as for response time. The display has 400 nits on brightness and carries 90% screen-to-body ratio for itself. This display can cover 100% from sRGB colour gamut and comes with the X-Rite colour management system. The display has G-Sync and FreeSync Premium support from Nvidia and AMD, respectively. A low-blue-light certification has been awarded by TUV Rheinland to this display.
The eighth-core AMD Ryzen 7 H255 processor lies inside the Legion R7000 (2025). 8 cores and 16 threads are provided by this processor, which clocks up to 4.9GHz.
An Nvidia RTX 5050 GPU served as the graphics card, with 8GB of GDDR7 VRAM and a peak power of 115W. The GPU supports DLSS 4 and Dynamic Boost 2.0 and is based on the Blackwell architecture.
The laptop packs 16GB DDR5 RAM and a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Both RAM and SSD may be upgraded by the user in case he wants to support expansion in the future.
The Legion R7000 (2025) features three USB-A, two USB-C, an HDMI 4.1 and a 3.5mm headphone jack. One of the USB-C ports supports DisplayPort 2.1, 140W charging, and 10Gbps data speed.
The TrueStrike 2.0 keyboard is full size, backlit, with a number pad and a 1.6mm key travel. The unit has a 60Wh battery which supports 140W USB-C charging. The 245W adapter from Lenovo allows the unit to charge 70% in 30 minutes.
The unit weighs in at about 2 kg, making it slightly heavy, but about standard weight for gaming machines.
