Moto G06 Power vs Galaxy M07: Under ₹8K Which One Should You Buy?

Motorola introduced the new Moto G06 Power in India. This new release is a direct rival to the Samsung Galaxy M07. The two handsets have similar pricing and are targeted at budget-conscious buyers. This comparison would point out which is the best gadget. We check on the comparison of the two devices’ main specs and performance.

Price and Value Proposition

The cost of the Moto G06 Power was set at Rs. 7,499 which is the price for the model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The Samsung Galaxy M07 is available for Rs. 7,699. Both offer the same standard of 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The Moto still manages to keep a marginal advantage in terms of pricing.

Display and Visual Experience

With a 6.88-inch HD+ display, the Moto G06 Power comes with an impressive refresh rate of 120Hz. It is also very bright with a screen reaching 600 nits. The Galaxy M07 uses merely a 6.7-inch PLS LCD which has a standard 90Hz refresh rate.

Performance and Processing Power

The Moto G06 Power is powered by a MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme processor. The chip can manage the most common tasks quite efficiently. A MediaTek Helio G99 is the chip implemented in the Samsung Galaxy M07. It gives the phone a bit stronger gaming capability than the Moto G06 Power.

Software and User Interface

The Moto G06 Power carries Android 15 as its base system and is supported by the smooth Hello UI software. The Samsung Galaxy M07 ticks Android 15 as well but is packed with the more feature-rich One UI 7.0 interface.

Storage and Expandability

Both phones are available with 4GB RAM. Moreover, they also provide 64GB of the phone’s internal storage. The first model on the market allows you to gradually increase your storage up to 1TB while the other one allows you to increase it up to 2TB in a microSD card.

Camera Capabilities

The Moto G06 Power consists of a 50MP main sensor on the back side with an 8MP front camera for taking selfies. The Samsung Galaxy M07 is supported with a dual rear camera setup which is a 50MP main sensor plus 2MP depth one. It also has an 8MP front camera.

Battery Life and Charging

With a 7000mAh battery accompanied by 18W wired charging, the Moto G06 Power is ready to serve for a long time. The Galaxy M07, on the other hand, has a 5000mAh battery supporting a faster 25W charging.

Final Recommendation

If you value a larger battery over everything else, then the Moto G06 Power is the recommended option for you. Furthermore, it gives you a 120Hz refresh rate as opposed to a 90Hz one. On the other hand, pick the Samsung Galaxy M07 if you are concerned more with the phone’s performance. It also supports faster 25W charging. It is entirely up to you to determine which one suits you best.
