Honor has launched the Magic V Flip 2 in China. The price of the base variant (12GB RAM + 256GB) is CNY 5,499 (i.e. around ₹66,900). The price of the 12GB + 512GB variant is CNY 5,999 (approximately ₹73,000). The 12GB + 1TB model is priced at CNY 6,499 (about ₹79,000). The top-end 16GB + 1TB version will retail for CNY 7,499 (about ₹91,300).
The phone is available for pre-order on a Honor e-store. The first sale of the device will take place on August 28, 2025. There are four colour options of the phone; Dawn Purple, Dream Weaver Blue, Moon Shadow White, and Titanium Air Grey.
The phone boasts a 6.82-inch FHD+ OLED LTPO inner display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits. The 4-inch OLED cover screen (resolution of 1,200×1,092) supports 120Hz on the cover display and peaks bright at 3,600 nits.
Both displays provide great smoothness of the visual experience. Both displays provide vivid colors with clarity.
Honor supports its device with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip featuring up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM & 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.
The phone runs on Android 15 with MagicOS 9.0.1, providing reliable performance. The device handles multitasking and gaming without a hitch.
Camera Quality
The Magic V Flip2 excels at photography work. The main camera is a 200MP with OIS. The ultra-wide is a 50MP which is capable of taking wide shots.
The selfie camera is also a 50MP located inside the device. Notably, both inner and outer cameras take photos in 4K video. You can expect photos that are very sharp and colorful.
The 5,500mAh battery with the phone packs a punch. The phone supplies an 80W wired fast charge. It offers up to a 50W wireless charge and 7.5W reverse wireless charge.
The battery gives you long-lasting power. It is very quick to charge the phone, which is useful if you’re pressed for time.
The phone boasts Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3. It has NFC to assist with payments. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for added security. Is that all? The device was also given an IP58 and IP59 rating, which means it is both dust and water-resistant. The phone weighs in at 193g and is 6.9mm when opened.
This phone is a definite style and power combination. It is a strong competitor in the foldable category.
