Poco C85 To Launch Soon: 6,000mAh Battery And 50MP Camera For Cheap

Poco is ready to launch its new budget smartphone Poco C85. Recent leaks confirm the full design and complete specifications for the entire country.

Display and Design

Poco C85 will have a 6.9-inch HD+ LCD Display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The display will have a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 810 nits for outdoor usage. There will be a waterdrop-style notch and have thin bezels. The back panel would have a dual-tone design and a black camera island.

Camera & Optics

For optics, the Poco C85 is said to have a 50MP main camera and secondary depth camera on the rear. An 8MP front camera will be provided for selfies. The rear camera would support basic photography modes including portrait, HDR and night modes.

Performance & Software

MediaTek’s Helio G81 Ultra chipset could power the Poco C85. Poco will pair this with LPDDR4x RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage. It will also be running Android 15 with Poco’s HyperOS 2.0 custom skin.

Battery & Charging

A major highlight of the Poco C85 is its 6000mAh battery. The Poco C85 will support up to 33W of fast wired charging, ensuring users can recharge the phone reasonably quickly. This makes it a good choice for anyone who is a heavy phone user and/or may need to charge the phone on the go.

Build Quality, and Durability

The Poco C85 is expected to receive an IP64 rating, meaning it can resist dust and light splashing.
The phone will measure 173.16 x 81.07 x 8.2 mm and weight approximately 211 grams.

Connectivity, and Ports

Connectivity options will include dual nano SIM card support, dual-band Wi-Fi, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
It will also feature side-mounted fingerprint sensor embedded into the power button.

Colors, and Variants

Leaked documents have suggested the phone may launch in Black, Mint, and Purple.
At launch, the company is expected to offer only a single storage variant.
