Poco M7 Plus 5G Launch: Huge Battery, Smooth Display, Low Price

Poco has introduced the Poco M7 Plus 5G smartphone in India, coming after the already available M7 5G and M7 Pro 5G. This smartphone provides terms of performance, big battery life, and substantial display adaptability.

Display and Design

Poco M7 Plus 5G has a 6.9-inch Full-HD+ display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and 288 Hz touch sampling rate, and it features a peak brightness of 850 nits and certified by TÜV Rheinland for both low blue light and flicker-free viewing. The screen ensures smooth scrolling and offers a comfortable viewing experience, making it user-friendly and responsive in daily use.

Performance and Software

The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor. The Poco M7 Plus 5G runs with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM, and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. Users also have the option of virtually expanding the RAM up to 16GB for multitasking responsibilities.

Camera and Video

The Poco M7 Plus 5G will have a 50MP main rear camera. It includes a secondary rear sensor to perform either secret depth or macro shots. The Poco M7 Plus 5G will have an 8MP front facing camera providing good-quality selfie and video calling experience. Both the But cameras are capable of recording 1080 P video at 30 fps.

Battery and Charging

You are looking at a super-sized battery at 7,000mAh. Poco states this is the largest battery in its price range. Charging supports 33W wired fast charging through the USB Type-C connection. You can also use reverse charging to charge other devices.

Build and Features

The device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.
It has an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Options for connectivity include 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1 and GPS.

Pricing and Availability

The 6GB + 128GB variant costs ₹13,999, while the 8GB + 256GB version costs ₹14,999.

Flipkart will go live with the phone on August 19 at 12 PM IST.
The color finishes of the phone include Aqua Blue, Carbon Black and Chrome Silver.
