Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 15 5G in India. The budget smartphone costs ₹14,999 and packs a massive 7,000mAh battery, Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset, and several AI-supported features.
The Redmi 15 5G starts at ₹14,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant.
The 8GB + 128GB variant costs ₹15,999.
The flagship 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at ₹16,999.
Sales will kick off on August 28 via Amazon, the official website of Xiaomi India, and selected offline stores. The new device will be sold in Frosted White, Midnight Black and Sandy Purple variations.
The Redmi 15 5G includes a 6.9-inch FHD + display with a resolution of 1,080×2,340 pixels. The display supports 144Hz refresh rate, 288Hz touch sampling rate and up to 850 nits peak brightness.
And it has three TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light, flicker-free and circadian-friendly, making it comfortable to use for long time periods.
The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chip and offers a wide range of configurations with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM. It also offers up to 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. The device uses HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15.
Xiaomi is giving 2 years of OS upgrades and 4 years of security updates. The phone also has AI features like Google Gemini and Circle to Search.
It has a 50MP dual rear camera and AI support.
It has many AI modes like AI Sky, AI Beauty, and AI Erase.
And it has 8MP selfie camera for video calls and selfies.
The phone has Dolby-certified stereo speakers for your entertainment.

And, it has 33W wired fast charging for quick charging.
You will also have 18W wired reverse charging for charging other devices.

The phone measures at 168.48×80.45×8.40mm and weighs 217grams.
