Samsung launched the fourth edition of Walk-a-thon India. The campaign’s aim is to make a healthier India before World Heart Day. Participants will walk with the chance to win big rewards. The challenge begins on September 29. The program concludes on October 28, 2025, and participants must complete 200,000 steps in 30 days.


 

All participants that complete the challenge will receive prizes, including three lucky participants that will win a Galaxy Watch 8. Other participants will obtain up to Rs 15,000 discount coupons on the Galaxy Watch 8 series. Now you can participate for fun and fitness.


 

How to Participate in the Challenge

Participants will need to use the Samsung Health app on their Galaxy smartphone. Once installed, they can register for Walk-a-thon India in the app. Once registered, the steps to your total will only count when you are registered. Progress can be tracked in real-time against a leaderboard for your friends, making it even more motivational to complete your 200,000 steps.

 

Once completed, you will need to return to the Samsung Members app to collect your reward. Take a screenshot, and post with the hashtag #WalkathonIndia. This will increase your chances of winning, since everyone who participates will have a chance to win the prizes.

 

Galaxy Watch 8 Prices in India

The 40mm Bluetooth model of the Galaxy Watch 8 is priced at Rs 30,999. The 44mm Bluetooth version is priced at Rs 35,999 and will have additional costs for LTE connectivity. The top of the line 46mm LTE model is priced at Rs 44,999. You can always find them at the Samsung stores, or online retailers with sales. Also, there may be some offers from Samsung during the challenge to make them even more affordable.

 

Key Features of the Watch 8

The Galaxy Watch 8 has a Super AMOLED screen. Sizes are available with either a 1.34-inch or 1.47-inch viewing screen. The brightness rating is 3,000 nits providing visibility in most situations. The glass is covered with sapphire crystal, which is very strong.

 

It is powered by the Exynos W1000 processor and offers smooth operations. It has 2GB of RAM and offers 32GB of internal storage. The battery life varies from model to model based on size.
