Samsung Trolls Apple’s iPhone 17 Launch With Bold Claims

Samsung took a humorous jab at Apple following the launch of the iPhone 17. The Korean tech giant took the opportunity to post on X, highlighting various features in Apple’s products recently announced by Apple. Samsung used this to claim that the Galaxy is a leader in innovation. And called out the new iPhone 17 Air, which was nicknamed the first “narrow phone.” We also saw new products from Apple, including AirPods.

Samsung’s posts on X

Samsung Mobile US posted several times on X. “#iCant believe this is still a thing,” said Samsung. They quoted a 2022 tweet from a user’s updated post: “let us know when it folds,” which they used to ridicule the iPhone’s camera functions. Samusung stated, “48MP x 3 doesn’t equal 200MP” and #iCant. Samsung used the #iCant hashtag many times.

Other Samsung Jabs

They took jabs at some of Apple’s new features. “What did people get in line for… “#iCant believe people waited 5 years to get Sleep Score” they posted. They stated that Apple’s new Live Translation feature was up late to the phone game and that they were first on this. Samsung posted innovation beats hype.

iPhone 17 Air highlights

Apple has launched the iPhone 17 Air after months of speculation by tech watchers. The iPhone is 5.6mm thick. This thinner than samsung’s S25 Edge at 5.8. The Apple iPhone 17 Air 256GB prices will start at Rs. 1,19,900; for 512GB it will Rs. 1,39,900, and 1TB will start at Rs. 1,59,900. Sales of the iPhone 17 Air will start on September 19, 2023.

The iPhone 17 Air will have a A19 Pro chip and a N1 networking chip with a C1X modem. For color options, they will still offer Space Black and Cloud White, but also Light Gold and Sky Blue, and eSIM only. According to Apple, the iPhone 17 Air is supposed to have the power of a MacBook Pro.

New AirPods Pro 3

Apple comes out with AirPods Pro 3 ($249). Noise cancellation is improved and the new chip doubles it. Live translation adds AI. They’ve got IP57 water resistance. There’s foam eartips for fit. There’s a heart-rate sensor to track fitness levels. Eight hours battery life with noise cancelation turned on.

Apple Watch Updates

Apple Watch Series 11. 5G and hypertension detection (of state) are new specs. Sleep score limits track tracking well being, starts at $249. Apple Watch SE 3 is the same just has always-on display using S10 chip. Watch Ultra 3 has fast charging and satellite support.

Why the Rivalry?

Samsung and Apple are rivals! Samsung claims Galaxy cameras are better than iPhone. Apple has thin iPhone Air against Samsung designs. Both companies take the biggest steps in tech developments. They’ve got loyal fans.
