Tecno ready to bring Spark Go 5G smartphone to India on August 14, 2025. The company confirmed the launch on a page dedicated to the page on Amazon which will be the exclusive e-commerce platform for launch.
Tecno claims to have the slimmest and lightest 5G smartphone. The smartphone is 7.99 mm thin and weighs only 194 grams. Design is on focus for handling and everyday usage of the smartphone.
The smartphone comes with a 6,000 mAh battery which is big for a long usage, for gaming, streaming, and browsing the web. It supports a lot of screen time before needing charge.
The smartphone is packed with smart AI-based features for quickly and smart usage. A new Ella AI assistant is included to use (even supports multiple Indian Languages). The smartphone includes Google’s Circle to Search for easy finding of content and easy looking for text. An AI Writing Assistant will also assist users in writing text-based tasks.
The Spark Go 5G includes Tecno’s Free Link app that allows it to work without cellular network; as a result, you can send messages or make calls between Tecno devices in offline mode, which may be helpful in an emergency or when in a location that does not have cellular coverage.
The Spark Go 5G will be priced below ₹15,000 (for context, 362 USD), as Tecno has positions itself in the “entry-level” 5G space with the capabilities of higher priced, more advanced smartphones with 5G capabilities. Its pricing will appeal to individuals looking for modern features at a low cost.
While Tecno provides limited specifications, the Spark Go 5G may come with a 6.67″ HD+ display screen at a 60Hz refresh rate. The rear camera setup may consist of a 13MP camera with an 8MP selfie camera.
However, the design appears to continue the modern and sleek illustration the other Spark series.
Budget users may find value for a 5G smartphone that has AI features, and enough battery life to keep them connected. At some point Tecno’s Spark Go 5G series will provide tremendous value for first time smartphone buyers, and young buyers.
