Vivo has officially launched the G3 5G, which is part of its highly successful G series line-up in China.
The smartphone gets a 6.74-inch LCD screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate to ensure a buttery-smooth visual experience.
It also has an HD+ resolution of 720×1600 pixels with a 20:9 aspect ratio.
The display has a 1500:1 contrast ratio with a decent viewing experience.
The phone has an IP64 rating, so it is water and dust resistant.
It also has impressive drop resistance so it would be more dependable than average.
Vivo constructed this phone with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, to manage omnipresent tasks and some casual games.
The G3 5G has two RAM options to choose from, either 6 GB or 8 GB.
Buyers will have the choice of 128 GB eMMC 5.1 storage or 256 GB UFS 2.2 storage options.
The phone operates on Android 15 with Vivo’s OriginOS 5 on top.
The G3 5G features a rear 13 MP camera with autofocus, which is considerable for casual photography.
The smartphone has a 5 MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
The G3 5G biggest showcase is the monumental 6,000 mAh battery, which supports 44 W of fast charging.
This large battery will allow for significant backup of a long usage experience since you can easily use the phone until the battery is low.
Connectivity and Features
The phone includes 5G dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.4.
You’ll also receive a USB Type‑C port, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and IR blaster.
You receive a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
The phone weighs approximately 204 grams and measures 167.3 x 76.95 x 8.19 mm.
The 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage model costs CNY 1,499 (around ₹18,300).
The 8 GB + 256 GB variant is priced at CNY 1,999 (around ₹24,300).
The smartphone comes in a single variant – Diamond Black.
The smartphone is currently available only in China as there is no word on the global launch yet.
