Vivo X200 FE vs V60 5G: Which Smartphone Offers More Value?

Vivo X200 FE vs V60 5G: Which Smartphone Offers More Value?

Vivo will launch the V60 5G on August 12. The phone will feature a Zeiss camera system. It will compete with the Vivo X200 FE. The X200 FE is known for powerful performance and camera quality. Here is a look at both phones side by side to help you determine which is the better buy.

Camera Technical comparison: Zeiss

Both phones come with a triple-camera setup, with Zeiss optics. The Vivo V60 has a 50MP (Sony IMX766) main camera, with another 50 MP Sony IMX882 ultrawide camera. The V60 even has a 50MP selfie camera for good measure!

The Vivo X200 FE is just as strong, with the same triple-camera array. The main camera of the X200 FE has a Sony IMX921 sensor. In addition to the main camera, the periscope shooter is a 50MP IMX882. The ultra-wide angle is an 8MP lens, and the front camera is also 50MP.

Both phones can lay claim to good imaging with excellent Zeiss camera technology adding to the original output of the sensors.

Display: Comfy or Bigger?

The Vivo X200 FE is also more compact, with a 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED display. It’s an excellent option for anyone who likes to have smaller phones that have high-end screens. The 120Hz refresh rate allows for seamless scrolling and gaming engine performance.

On the other hand, the Vivo V60 has a larger 6.67-inch AMOLED panel. This display is more suitable for users who want more visual space for content consumption or for multitasking. Both of these phones have a 120Hz refresh rate, but the V60 is larger and more appealing to fans of more visual space.

Performance and Power: Chipsets and RAM

The Vivo X200 FE features the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset, built on a 4nm architecture, offering lightning-fast gaming and multitasking performance for intensive apps.

The Vivo V60 runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, also based on a 4nm construction, ensuring solid performance across tasks. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset is an excellent chipset, but there is a powerful difference in using Dimensity 9300 Plus in terms of raw performance power.

When looking at RAM and storage, the Vivo X200 FE is capable of delivering to up 16GB RAM and UFS 3.1 storage which should be excellent for intensive apps and games. The Vivo V60 is estimated to have up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage which should be sufficient for most users.

Battery and Charging: Equal Strengths

Both devices are equipped with decent-sized batteries with a capacity of 6,500mAh that should get you through an entire day. Both devices have 90W fast charging support from Vivo, so you should have no issue quickly charging both devices – you’ll want to hit the road without any idle time.

Vivo X200 FE did great in our battery testing, lasting into the second day at moderate usage. The V60’s battery performance is pending, but we expect it to be alongside the X200 FE.

Software and Biometric Security

Both devices will launch with Android 15, featuring Vivo’s Funtouch OS 15. In terms of biometric security, both phones also use under-display fingerprint scanners featuring optical sensors, so unlocking should be smooth and quick.

Durability: IP68 Rating

In terms of durability, both smartphones share a level of IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Both phones are designed to withstand water submersion and prevent dust from entering, making them ideal for rugged environments.

Conclusion: Which One Should You Buy?

If you are looking for a compact size of phone with the best camera capabilities, the Vivo X200 FE is a better choice. It has a nice level of performance, a good camera, and a compact size that is easier to manage.

If you are looking for a larger display and are okay with waiting until the Vivo V60 officially released, then it may be the right choice. Both phones are similarly spec’d and can do the heavy lifting, so it may come down to which design you prefer and specific features.
