WhatsApp has now rolled out the Video Notes feature for its users globally on Android and iOS platforms. Video Notes can easily be used to send video messages that are limited to 60-seconds in chats. It operates just like voice notes but with video. Use it to commemorate cultural celebrations like Durga Puja during the nine-night festival of Navratri or simply as some video knowledge.
Video notes allow the sending of personal video messages, or quick updates, or if you have some special greeting or message to send, video notes are perfect for that. 60-seconds is the upper limit and will encourage ease of use and engagement – all in good fun. Also, notice that you may record your video using the front or back camera. Overall, this feature should make chats fun and more visual.
First, you will want to make sure that your WhatsApp app is updated, simply check the Google Play Store on Android users or Apple App Store on iOS users for the latest updates; an updated app ensures the best experience on Video Notes and guarantees key features will be visible to users.
Without checks and updates, the features or any updates may not show up. Updating the app should take no more than a few minutes.
Open WhatsApp and select a chat. At the bottom of your screen, tap the camera icon. Now push and hold the camera icon to record.
The front camera will default to record first. To use the back camera, tap the flip icon. You can record a video for up to 60 seconds. To stop recording, release the icon. Once you complete your video, tap the send button to share it. Your video note is sent!
Open WhatsApp and select a chat. Tap the camera icon. To record a video, press and hold the camera icon. To record a video without holding it, slide it up, and it will record hands-free.
You can flip it back and forth and use the front or back camera. You can make a video for up to a minute (60 seconds). Then tap the send button to send the video message. Your video message is sent immediately.
Use Video Notes to send messages quickly and more personally. Try to record in a good lighting situation to ensure you have a good video in terms of clarity and quality.
Keep the message simple and short as well as to the point of what you’re going to say. You are also able to send Video Notes to group chats. It would take practice at first before you feel comfortable using it. It’s a neat way to connect to friends and family.
Video Notes add depth to chats. The feature is very easy to use, just as an audio file or voice notes. The features work seamlessly on both Android and iOS. They can convey feelings, and moments, visually. It is a great and creative way to interact with others. Make sure to use a Video Note in your next special message!
