This month, OpenAI trialed a new plan called ChatGPT Go for Indian users that sits between the Free and Plus plans. This new plan is affordable and provides Indian users a lot more functionality.
There are several non-priced tiers available with OpenAI access, the Free tier simply serves as the no-cost plan to most casual interactors with AI responsiveness. A Free Plan user gets mediocre slow response times, after all, users only gain access to one base mode at a time.
You can only send and receive a limited number of boxed messages before hitting restrictions again. It won’t generate complex images or handle documents well, even with the few files you’re allowed to upload or auto-generate.
Overall, while the limits make it far less capable, many users may find a single conversation useful for simple tasks.
This Free Plan is useful if one intends the conversational tone is nothing other than casually evaluating how ChatGPT works. It is not effective in helping with scripts and treatments, nor serious and basic inquiries.
OpenAI has recently released ChatGPT Go to Indian users is ₹399/month, and exclusively too! OpenAI is making some extreme recommendations in terms of usage with ChatGPT Go, 10x more messages, image generations, and file uploads.
In addition, the Go plan provides about 2x higher memory improvement, which will provide moderately better chat continuity. It’s also important to note that the Go plan allows you access to GPT-5 mode which assists a lot in normal parenting performance.
So without confirming, you should expect improvements to speed, although the Go Plan does not grant you any advanced tools or access to plain type developed for ChatGPT Plus. I have no affiliation with OpenAI, though I’m sure in case.
Nick Turley, head of ChatGPT stated is one of their biggest markets. The Go Plan attempts more value for money for Indian user.
ChatGPT Plus is by far the most powerful subscription plan, costing just ₹1,999/month in India. Many additional features are unlocked, including GPT-5, GPT-4o, GPT-4, and GPT-3.5 models.
You also get access to advanced options like deep research, agent mode, and Sora video creation tools, faster replies, early access to tools, and usage rights during peak times.
This plan is best for a professionally employed person, full-time student, or full-time creator needing the level of power this plan offers.
Select ChatGPT Free if you want basic access on an occasional basis. Opt for ChatGPT Go if you want a little better performance, but at a low cost. Select Plus if you want all the major tools plus full access to all models and modes.
All plans are now available in Rupees. You can also pay with UPI, therefore making it easier for many in India.
