Hours after getting bail and walking out of the prison today, Icon Star Allu Arjun addressed the media in his residence. In the press meet, the actor is seen thanking his fans and the media for their support. The actor then addressed the Sandhya theatre incident and once again expressed his condolences to the family. Allu Arjun first addressed the Sandhya Theatre Tragedy that happened on 4th December 2024 at Pushpa 2: The Rule premier in the press meeting on the lawn of his house. “We’re extremely sorry for the family, and I will personally be there to support them in whatever way. It’s purely accidental,” The actor said about the incident. He also claims that he had no direct connection to the incident as it occurred while Allu Arjun was watching Pushpa 2: The Rule with his family.
Icon Star Allu Arjun said, “I was inside the theatre watching a movie with my family, and the accident happened outside. It is truly of no direct connection to me, truly accidental, purely unintentional. My love is with the family, and I’ll be there in whatever way possible.” The Pushpa 2 actor claimed that he has been visiting the Sandhya Theatres for the last 20 years more than 30 times and this kind of incident never took place. Allu Arjun was deeply saddened by the Sandhya theatres incident. “I’ve been coming to the same theatre for the last 20 years, and I’ve been to the same place more than 30 times, and never any accident has happened. It’s truly unfortunate. It was an accident, and we’re extremely sorry for what has happened. But it was totally out of control,” The actor concluded the press meeting.
Allu Arjun was accused in the FIR filed by the dead woman Revathi’s husband. At first, the lower court sent Allu Arjun to 14-day judicial custody, but a few hours later, The Telangana HC granted interim bail to Icon Star for 28-30 days. The actor was asked to submit a personal bond of Rs 50,000. However, after spending a night in jail, Allu Arjun was released on today’s morning.
