Prior to Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala’s November 26 wedding last year, Zainab Ravdjee and Akhil Akkineni, Nagarjuna’s second son, became engaged. Their wedding has been the talk of the town ever since they exchanged rings. For their supporters, we have some excellent news today: the couple is getting married soon.
India Today reports that Akhil will host a small wedding ceremony, just like his brother Chay did. On March 24 of this year, he and Zainab will tie the knot in front of their loved ones. Even more thrilling is the fact that the couple will exchange vows at Hyderabad’s Annapurna Studios.
Since his grandfather, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, created the studio, Akhil feels a strong connection to it and wishes to begin a new chapter in his life there. The story claims that a select group of people, including well-known politicians and members of the entertainment business, will attend their wedding.
Rumor has said that Akhil and Zainab might decide to have their wedding somewhere else. If they do, Hyderabad will host a star-studded reception. But as of yet, no formal confirmation has been given.
In the meantime, Nagarjuna announced Akhil and Zainab’s engagement on social media last year under the handle X. He posted pictures of the couple wearing white outfits and stated, he wrote, “We are thrilled to announce the engagement of our son, @AkhilAkkineni8, to our daughter in law to be Zainab Ravdjee!
