Akkineni Nagarjuna meets with PM Modi with his family

Akkineni Nagarjuna and his members of the Akkineni family, recently had the privilege of meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and presenting him with a book honoring the renowned actor and film producer Akkineni Nageswara Rao. The family was quite proud of this particular gathering, which took place in Parliament House, since it allowed them to recognize the enormous contribution that ANR made to the Indian film industry. In an emotional post posted by Nagarjuna, the family, moved by the event, expressed their thanks.

In his response, Nagarjuna appreciated the gesture’s importance and the Akkineni family’s deep gratitude for having such a powerful person recognize ANR’s film heritage. She added on, “PS: Anyone who knows me is aware of my love for kondapalli bommalu, or dancing dolls; they have memories of me growing up at my grandparents’ Tenali home. I’m thrilled to have been able to give him one and discover that he is well-versed in this ancient skill and its significance to Andhra Pradesh.”

Regarding his career, Nagarjuna was recently seen in the 2024 film Naa Saami Ranga, while his son Naga Chaitanya is now appearing with Sai Pallavi in the drama Thandel. Since its February 7, 2025, release, the movie has drawn interest from viewers.
