Popular Telugu actor Allu Arjun is once again teaming up with director Trivikram Srinivas for an exciting new film, tentatively titled AA23. While Arjun is currently busy preparing for his action-packed movie with Atlee (referred to as AA22xA6), new reports about his collaboration with Trivikram have sparked curiosity online.

According to a recent report by Telugu Chitraalu, AA23 is expected to be set in a mystical world inspired by Hindu mythology. The story may take place between the Satya Yug and Treta Yug—two significant eras in ancient Indian scriptures. If true, this could give the movie a very unique and creative setting, different from the usual commercial Telugu films.

AA23 Update: 

To bring this vision to life, the filmmakers reportedly formed a special team to handle pre-production. This team actively researches ancient mythological texts for inspiration and references to build the film’s world. Although no one has fully confirmed the details, fans feel intrigued by the concept of setting a modern film between two Yugas.

Allu Arjun, who recently won the Telangana state’s Gaddar Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in Pushpa 2: The Rule continues to ride high on success. He consistently chooses challenging roles and explores new genres, proving why Telugu cinema still considers him one of its most bankable stars.

Meanwhile, Arjun’s other major project with Atlee also grabs plenty of attention. This science fiction film reportedly takes place in a parallel universe and involves high-end visual effects powered by international VFX studios. While the makers haven’t officially revealed the cast, buzz around names like Deepika Padukone, Janhvi Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur, and Bhagyashri Borse keeps growing. The team is still working to finalize a fifth lead heroine.

Sources suggest that Arjun will portray not two, but three different characters in this film. One of these roles might even feature an animated version of the actor—something never before done in Indian cinema.

Arjun last appeared in Pushpa 2: The Rule, the sequel to his blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise. The film follows Pushparaj, a laborer who climbs the ranks to become a powerful red sandalwood smuggler. After the franchise’s massive success, the makers also plan a third installment titled Pushpa 3: The Rampage.

Regarding AA23, fans continue to await official updates on the cast, plot, and release date. The idea of placing the story in a mythological world between two Yugas adds an exciting twist. If Arjun and Trivikram Srinivas deliver on this concept, the film could mark another major milestone in their careers.
