It all started in Mumbai, where Allu Arjun was promoting his upcoming film in a promotional event. In the event, Allu Arjun addressed his fans as Army. This offended someone and gave a complaint against Allu Arjun at Jawahar Nagar Police Station in Hyderabad, objectifying the use of the word army for the fan base. They have posted a picture of the lodged complaint and said “We have filed a complaint against Tollywood star Allu Arjun requesting him not to use the word army for his fan base. Army is an honourable post; they’re the ones who protect our country, so you can’t call your fans that. There are many other terms he could use instead.”
While promoting his film Pushpa 2: The Rule, Allu Arjun graced the promotional event in Mumbai along with Rashmika Mandanna. In the event, Allu Arjun addressed his fans as ‘Army’. Allu Arjun said, “I don’t have fans; I have an army. I love my fans; they’re like my family. They stand by me; they celebrate me. They stand for me like an army. I love you all; I will make you proud. If this film becomes a big hit, I will dedicate it to all my fans.” This speech offended a common man and led him to face legal issues ahead of the film’s release.
The much-awaited sequel Pushpa2: The Rule is all set to hit the theatres on 5th December 2024. Ahead of its release, the ticket prices for the film have been issued. Made with a budget between Rs 400 crore to Rs 500 crore, the ticket prices are reaching sky-high. As per the ticket price issued, the single screens ticket price reached to Rs 354.
