Mythri Movie Makers took to their social media platforms and penned a note clarifying the ongoing Ott release rumors. They stated, There are rumours floating around about the OTT release of Pushpa 2 The Rule .Enjoy the Biggest Film Pushpa2 only on the Big Screens in this Biggest Holiday Season. It won’t be on any OTT before 56 days! It’s Wild Fire Pushpa only in Theatres Worldwide. They also revealed that Pushpa 2 The Rule collects 632.50 crores nett in Hindi – the highest ever for any Hindi film.

The makers of Pushpa 2: The Rule have confirmed that the film will be available to stream on Netflix only after completing 56 days of it’s theatrical release. The film will be available to stream in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
The giant Ott platform Netflix reportedly acquired the digital rights to Pushpa 2 for a record-breaking price, reflecting the film’s high demand. The film’s OTT release is expected to be accompanied by the addition of a few deleted scenes.
The actioner is an action-packed film directed by Sukumar and starring Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. According to reports Netflix bought the digital rights of the Allu Arjun movie for a whopping INR 275 crore. Considering the massive footfalls in theatres, the sequel will take its sweet time to stream on the digital platform. It is expected to release on OTT in February 2025.

Pushpa 2: The Rule was released worldwide on 5 December 2024 to mixed reviews from critics and audience. The action sequel is setting several box-office records, it has earned more than Rs 1500 crores worldwide in fourteen days, emerging as the highest-grossing Indian film of the year, second highest-grossing film in India, second highest-grossing Telugu film, and third highest-grossing Indian film.
