Allu Arjun was taken into custody on Friday afternoon from his residence following the tragic incident that took place at Sandhya theatre during the premiere of his latest action film Pushpa 2: The Rule. The incident occurred on 4th December 2024, when Allu Arjun and his co-star Rashmika Mandanna arrived at Sandhya theatres which led to a stampede-like situation. This resulted in the death of a woman whose son was severely injured and remains hospitalised.

Allu Arjun’s Arrest

Allu Arjun was accused in the FIR filed by the dead woman Revathi’s husband. The actor’s arrest has divided the internet, Many actors have reacted to the incident by saying, we can not blame everything on one person. As this matter is very saddening. The Authorities are also to blame for not taking proper safety and management during the premiere. Actors Like Nani, Sandeep Kishan, Allu Arjun co-star Rashmika Mandanna and many more reacted to the happening event. While some of the actors from the industry directly paid a visit to Allu Arjun after the incident.

Allu Arjun’s bail

At first, the lower court sent Allu Arjun to 14-day judicial custody, but a few hours later, The Telangana HC granted interim bail to Icon Star for 28-30 days. The actor was asked to submit a personal bond of Rs 50,000.  “We will grant interim bail for a certain period, and let them avail appropriate remedies meanwhile,” said a judge to Bar and Bench. However, the actor spent one night in jail and reached his residence by today morning.

Allu Arjun’s first statement

After Allu Arjun was released from Jail, The actor said, “I am a law-abiding citizen and will cooperate. I would like to once again express my condolences to the family. It was an unfortunate incident.” After Allu Arjun reached his residence Many celebrities have been seen visiting Allu Arjun. Rashmika Mandanna’s rumoured boyfriend Vijay Devarakonda and his brother Anand Devarakonda visited him. We can also see Pushpa director Sukumar and producer Dil Raju at his residence.
