Amid Allu Arjun’s arrest Pushpa 2 breaks Baahubali 2 Hindi records. Pushpa 2: The Rule, which has only been out for two weeks, is already breaking box office records. The recently released Telugu film, starring Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj, reached another milestone on its second Friday, thanks to its North Indian audiences.

Pushpa 2: The Rule (Hindi), the sequel to Pushpa: The Rise, earned Rs 53 crore on its first Friday at the Hindi box office, making it the top second-Friday movie in India. Baahubali 2 came in second. On Day 9, the Hindi version of Allu Arjun’s film grossed Rs 24 crore, making it the highest-grossing second-Friday film in India’s history.

Prabhas’ epic action drama Baahubali 2: The Conclusion collected Rs 20 crore on the same day at the box office in Hindi. The 2017 epic action picture starring Prabhas is in second place. This is followed by Gadar 2, Animal, and Stree 2, which rank third, fourth, and fifth, respectively. Sunny Deol and Ranbir Kapoor’s 2023 flicks grossed Rs 20 crore each on the second Friday. Stree 2 grossed Rs 18.50 crore on its second Friday after being released on Thursday .

Allu Arjun’s starrer second weekend collection is projected to be Rs 120 crore net in Hindi. At the time of writing, the film starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna was expected to gross Rs 44 crore on Saturday and Rs 50 crore on Sunday in the North Indian markets.

The Sukumar directorial action entertainer is made on an estimated budget of Rs 400–500 crore , it is said to be one of the most expensive Indian films. With a runtime of 200 minutes, it is also one of the longest Indian films ever made.

Pushpa 2: The Rule was released worldwide on 5 December 2024 , the action sequel broke several box-office records, it has earned over Rs 1,004 crore (US$120 million) worldwide in the first eight days of it’s grand debut at worldwide box office. The film is now successfully running in cinemas.
