Ghaati and Pushpa Crossover:

Anushka Shetty is gearing up for the release of her action-packed crime drama Ghaati, which will hit theaters on September 5, 2025. Recently, during a telephonic interview, the actress shared an interesting thought. She expressed her wish for a crossover between her character in Ghaati and Allu Arjun’s iconic role from Pushpa.

Anushka said that bringing both characters together on screen would be a great idea. “I really hope this happens. Someone should tell Sukumar sir about it,” she stated. The actress added that such a crossover would be exciting because both films are raw and intense. She compared the idea to superhero crossovers, saying, “If they can do it, why can’t we?”

This is not the first time Anushka and Allu Arjun have worked together. They shared the screen earlier in Vedam (2010) and Rudhramadevi (2015). Fans would love to see them reunite again in such a unique concept.

Apart from this, Anushka also revealed her interest in working with Prabhas once more. However, she mentioned that the project should be something special. “After Baahubali, it has to be equally strong or something very new. If we both like the script, we will definitely do it,” she said.

Talking about Ghaati, the film is set in a tribal backdrop. Anushka plays a woman from the Ghaati tribe who is involved in cannabis trade. When her business partners betray her, she fights back and becomes a powerful figure in her community. The movie also stars Vikram Prabhu, Jagapathi Babu, Chaitanya Rao Madadi, and Jisshu Sengupta in key roles. It is directed by Krish Jagarlamudi.

Apart from Ghaati, Anushka is also making her Malayalam debut soon with Kathanar – The Wild Sorcerer, co-starring Jayasurya.

Fans are now eagerly waiting to see if the idea of a Ghaati-Pushpa crossover becomes reality.
