One of the most striking revelations is that Ravi renounced Indian citizenship in 2022. He apparently pays around Rs. 80 lakhs to acquire Caribbean citizenship in the same year, a technique used by most people who want their mobility and anonymity in finances and resides luxuriously in the Caribbean Islands, outside Indian jurisdiction, while controlling things digitally.
Ravi entered India only three days before arrest. His motive of coming to India was said to be selling off his properties in Hyderabad and Vizag. Investigators also learned that Ravi married a Muslim woman before 2022. And of course, other than his personal life; his technological adeptness saw him rise. Using advanced DRM-bypassing techniques, he purportedly hacked copyrighted OTT material, used HD conversions, and broadcasted the spurious services across a network of nearly 60 websites. Some content was sourced from the MovieRulez ecosystem and were repackaged for his customers.
