A day after a case was filed against actors like Vijay Deverakonda, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah, and Prakash Raj for promoting betting apps, a new update on promoting betting apps came to light. Cybercrime complaints have been filed against many more South superstars. Some of the Pan-Indian actors, along with South Indian actors, were revealed. Case filed against south stars:

According to petitioner Rama Rao Immani, illegal betting apps were allegedly endorsed during the talk show. In this particular episode, Prabhas and Gopichand were guests, and Balakrishna was the host. The petitioner claims that he has lost Rs 80 lakh through this platform. His complaint has again brought the controversial topic of misuse of celebrity influence in the spotlight, which leads people to fraudulent schemes.

The officials are currently investigating the allegations under the Gaming Amendment Act. According to reports, although the petitioner initially made profits through the app, he later lost a lot of money, after which he got into debt. He has reportedly blamed the promotional activities of the app, which encouraged users to invest money. The ongoing controversy has been in headlines for a long time.

The app was accused of cheating people:

The complainant urged the authorities to block public access to the app, citing national security risks. The app is accused of cheating people by luring them to play games and lose money, in which money is sent through accounts. The app is reportedly linked to a banned Chinese gaming platform, which violates the Telangana Gaming Amendment Act, 2017, and the Digital Media Ethics Code. Telangana RTC MD Sajjanar is also actively campaigning against these illegal betting apps.
