This film is the sequel to Akhanda, which was a blockbuster hit. The shooting is progressing at a fast pace, and now an exciting update has surfaced. Reports suggest that Bollywood Actress Vidya Balan will play a key role in the film. It is rumored that she will portray a political leader. Vidya Balan previously acted alongside Balakrishna in the NTR Biopic.
The film recently completed an important schedule in Hyderabad in early March. The next phase of shooting is set to take place in the Himalayas. To finalize the locations, the director and his team recently visited several scenic spots in the region.
This schedule will feature crucial scenes of Balakrishna’s character, Akhanda, along with a high-energy action sequence.
Boyapati Srinu is crafting this as a pan-India movie, and Balakrishna will appear in two distinct roles. The team has already confirmed actresses Samyuktha Menon and Pragya Jaiswal for key roles.

Akhanda 2 – Tandavam is set to hit theaters on September 25 as a grand Dussehra release. Fans are eagerly waiting to see Nandamuri Balakrishna’s powerful performance once again.
Meanwhile Balakrishna was last seen in the film Daaku Maharaaj. The film is directed and co-written by Bobby Kolli and produced by S. Naga Vamsi. The film stars Nandamuri Balakrishna and Urvashi Rautela Shraddha Srinath in lead roles alongside,Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, Sachin Khedekar, Makarand Deshpande, Aadukalam Naren, Nithin Mehta, Ravi Kishan, VTV Ganesh, Rishi and Chandini Chowdary.
