Deepika Padukone Opens Up About 8 Hours Shift Controversy

Deepika Padukone 8 Hours Shift: Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has recently found herself in the middle of several controversies. She was reportedly part of two major projects, Kalki 2 and Spirit, but was unexpectedly dropped from both. According to reports, the decision came after she set a few strict working conditions. Deepika allegedly demanded a high remuneration, an 8-hour workday, and separate vanity vans and luxury hotel accommodation for herself and her team.

Producers, however, refused to accept her 8-hour work condition. They argued that such restrictions would not be feasible for big-budget films, as they could lead to production delays and higher costs. Recently, Deepika addressed these reports for the first time in front of the media. She clarified her stance, saying,

Deepika Padukone About 8 Hours Shift Controversy:
“Many top heroes in the Indian film industry have been working only eight hours a day for years. This is not a secret, but no one talks about it. I won’t name them because I don’t want to create unnecessary controversy. They work from Monday to Friday and take weekends off. I don’t understand why people are targeting me for doing the same.”
