Deepika Padukone Joins Allu Arjun: Bollywood glamour girl Deepika Padukone has been in the news once more with a surprise shift in her future film projects. Following Deepika’s exit from director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s highly anticipated film Spirit where she was to have a role alongside Prabhas, Deepika has boarded South sensation Allu Arjun’s next action entertainer with celebrated director Atlee.
Industry sources have informed that Deepika parted ways with Spirit due to several issues. Creative differences with crew and cast, conflicting schedules, and post-maternity choices were some of the prime reasons. Post-Delivery, Deepika has reportedly demanded more convenient shooting timetables after delivering her first child in 2024. Budget issues and uncertainty of final script are also said to have factored in her exit.
Wasting no time whatsoever, Deepika has now joined hands for a massive pan-India action entertainer with Allu Arjun. The movie, directed by Atlee, is said to be being produced on a whopping budget of ₹700 crore and is raising high expectations from everywhere in the industry. This is her first venture with Allu Arjun and a second project with Atlee, having shared their previous successful venture in Jawan.

What the Audiences Can Look Forward to In the film, there is the promise of a big-budget cinema spectacle. Allu Arjun will reportedly have a dual role, and Mrunal Thakur and Janhvi Kapoor join the cast to make it one of the largest multi-stars in recent times.
Deepika is obviously making choosy, impactful decisions while coming back from maternity. Apart from Atlee’s movie, she is also committed with King, a revenge thriller with Shah Rukh Khan. Her choices show the right combination of work and family without giving up big-budget cinema.
