Gaddar Awards 2025: The Telugu film industry, for once in a span of 14 years, is witnessing the revival of its prestigious state-sponsored film awards. In a landmark decision, the Chief Minister of the state has announced that awards will once again be conferred to the best among Telugu cinema. These awards will now be called the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards, in memory of the legendary poet and revolutionary artist Kavi Gaddar.
A committed awards jury has been constituted with veteran actress Jayasudha heading it, with her ample experience and passion for cinema. The announcement of the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards was made at 10 a.m. by Jayasudha. Dil Raju, the Chairman of the Film Development Corporation, made the full declaration of winners.
