Gaddar Telangana Film Awards: It is known that the Telangana government has taken the Gaddar Awards with great pride. Even after ten years of the state’s existence, the film industry has not been properly recognized and the awards program has also been stopped, said Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka. FDC Chairman Dil Raju said that the main ceremony of the Gaddar Awards will be held on June 14. The Cinematography Minister and Deputy CM participated in the program.
The Telangana government is taking the Gaddar Awards program forward. This Gaddar Awards program is going to be held grandly under the auspices of CM Revanth Reddy. Steps have been taken to this extent. To this extent, Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka, Cinematography Minister Komati Reddy, Jury Chairperson Jayasudha and all the jury members came forward to the media. Speaking to this extent, FDC Chairman Dil Raju announced that the Gaddar Awards will be presented on June 14.
He said that the jury members will watch the films released in 2024 and make a shortlist. Dil Raju said that the Gaddar Awards will be announced for good films from that. The awards will be announced at the HICC venue. Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka spoke at the program organized to this extent. He said that the film industry received encouragement during the tenure of the Congress governments. He said that the government has not cared about the film industry for the last ten years.
Speaking at a program organized to this effect at Prasad Lab on Tuesday, April 22, the Deputy CM further said that the state government has decided to organize the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards program without any compromise on the way film awards functions are organized at the global level. Dil Raju said that the jury members will shortlist the films released last year by the first week of May and then present the awards on June 14.
Different voices are already being heard on the Gaddar Awards. It is likely that more controversy will arise on these in the future. Who will be given the awards? Which films will be given them? Controversy is likely to be created on the issue. And it remains to be seen what stand the Telangana government will take on these Gaddar Awards in the future. When these Gaddar Awards were announced, only people like Chiranjeevi came forward and spoke in support of the government.
