Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Pawan Kalyan’s much-awaited film ‘Harihara Veeramallu’ is set to release on June 12. This pan-India film, which has been delayed for five years, is currently in the post-production stage. Initially directed by Krish, Jyothi Krishna has finally taken over the direction of this movie. Amazon Prime has acquired the OTT rights of this film, which was made with a huge budget, for Rs. 50 crores. Talks are underway for a theatrical business of Rs. 125 crores. Pawan Kalyan’s non-remuneration due to the delay of this film has become a hot topic.
Pawan Kalyan fans have been waiting for a long time for the film ‘Harihara Veera Mallu’. The shooting of this movie, which has been going on for five years, has recently been completed. The makers recently announced that the film, which is currently undergoing post-production work, will be released on June 12. Pawan Kalyan will be seen as a historical warrior in this story set in the 17th century. Krish was initially directed by this film.. but due to some reasons, he dropped out in the middle.
With this, Jyothi Krishna took over the directorial reins. A. Dayakar Rao is producing this film under the presentation of AM Ratnam, who gave blockbusters like ‘Khushi’ with Pawan Kalyan . Fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the first part of the two-part movie, ‘Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 Sword vs. Spirit’. The makers say that it has all the elements that Pawan fans need. Trade sources predict that the movie will have a huge opening with the buzz being created.
However, the makers seem to have reconsidered the budget estimate for the movie as it cost more than expected. The budget estimate for the Harihara Veeramallu project was Rs. 150 crores when it was started, but it crossed Rs. 200 crores by the time it was completed. Industry talk is that the producer was burdened with interest charges after being on the sets for five years. In this context, it must be said that Pawan’s decision regarding remuneration has brought some relief to AM Ratnam. There are reports that Pawan Kalyan has taken a sensational decision not to take any remuneration except the advance for the films that were delayed due to him. If that happens, he is sure to get a huge relief.
As for the business of the movie ‘Harihara Veeramallu’, it seems that Amazon Prime has bought its OTT rights for Rs. 50 crores. As for the theatrical rights, the makers are talking about Rs. 125 crores. However, the distributors are wondering whether Pawan Kalyan will get that much of a workout in the market. Sources in the unit say that discussions are going on between the two parties on this, a clarity will come in a few days. ‘Harihara Veeramallu’, which is Pawan’s first Pan India movie in his career, has attracted interest from both the film industry and political circles. The reason for this is that it is the first movie from Pawan Kalyan after becoming the Deputy CM.
