HIT 3 suffers Huge Loss: Know more

HIT 3: Although the producers of the film ‘Hit 3’ directed by Sailesh Kolanu starring Nani in the lead role have announced that it has collected Rs. 100 crores, the actual situation is different, said East Godavari distributor Satyanarayana. Speaking in an interview, he said that while the openings were good for the first four days, the collections dropped on the eighth day, and they have incurred a loss of Rs. 50 lakhs with this film. He commented that the condition of the theaters has become miserable due to the huge budgets and the pan India ruckus. He said that the theaters have been facing losses due to the rare release of star hero films.

HIT 3 suffers Huge Loss?

Natural Star Nani and Sailesh Kolanu’s ‘Hit 3’, directed by him, has become a box office hit with good reviews. The producers announced that it has collected Rs. 100 crores in just four days. With this, it seems that Nani has another blockbuster in his account. Nani also faced controversy for holding a success meet during the ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan. Nani’s comments that he was holding a success meet to avoid the scandal that a film event in India was canceled due to Pakistan caused the anger of netizens. However, his fans are celebrating that another Rs. 100 crore film has been added to Nani’s account. But was Hit 3 really a hit. Did it distribute profits to distributors, exhibitors, and theater managers: that is, it has become difficult to answer. In a recent interview, East Godavari district distributor Satyanarayana, who is closely associated with the film industry, discredited the movie ‘Hit 3’. His words are a slap in the face to the producers who make fake advertisements claiming collections of hundreds of crores of rupees.

Satyanarayana Reveals

‘Hit 3 had good openings for four days. That’s why we had a rent workout. On the eighth day, we didn’t get much collection. But the distributor asked us to calculate the rent. We alone lost Rs. 50 lakhs due to that movie. The situation in the industry is not good at all. Out of 100 movies released, not even ten of them are hits. Big heroes are making a movie every two to three years. In the past, people like Superstar Krishna used to release two movies a month. Then the theater managers used to celebrate. Now, there is a situation where we don’t know when the movies of big heroes will come out. “To run a theater in an urban center like Kakinada, including electricity, staff salaries, and other expenses, it costs up to Rs. 5 lakhs. Not a single movie starring big heroes is released every month. What is our situation then?” Satyanarayana said.

“The film industry had a percentage system till 1980. At that time, the buyer, the exhibitor, and the producer were all happy. Then the rent system was introduced. Even then, the exhibitor was happy. But in the current situation, every hero is being blocked for three years, saying Pan India. They are destroying the industry by increasing the budget drastically. Currently, no one in the industry is getting better except the big heroes and technicians,” said Satyanarayana.
