Spirit A-Rated Cop Drama: Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga is preparing for his next big project, Spirit, featuring superstar Prabhas and rising actress Tripti Dimri. The movie is set to be an intense action-packed cop thriller with bold storytelling elements. After earlier plans with Deepika Padukone didn’t work out due to creative differences, Tripti Dimri was signed as the female lead.

According to sources close to the team, Spirit will receive an ‘A’ certificate due to its mature content. While it follows the format of a typical Telugu entertainer with powerful hero moments, the film also explores more intense and bold themes. There will be strong action sequences, including graphic fight scenes with a lot of blood. In addition, the film will include several intimate moments between the lead pair, Prabhas and Tripti.

The script clearly outlined the bold scenes from the beginning. When the team discussed them with Deepika earlier, she and the director agreed to tone them down. However, Tripti Dimri accepted the role without hesitation, and the director assured everyone of a professional and comfortable atmosphere on set.

The crew plans to start filming Spirit in October 2025. They aim to release the film worldwide in nine languages across multiple countries. The team is currently in talks to bring popular Korean actor Ma Dong Seok on board for a key role, adding strong international appeal.

Spirit will hit theaters in 2027 and ranks among the most anticipated films in Indian cinema, alongside SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film with Mahesh Babu. With high expectations and a bold, fresh storyline, Spirit looks ready to shake up the global cinema scene.
