Ustaad Bhagat Singh Not a Remake: Producer Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers recently shared exciting updates about the production house’s upcoming projects. According to him, 2026 will be a significant year for Mythri with several major releases lineups.

Ravi Shankar revealed that Mythri Movie Makers will launch a series of big-budget films featuring top stars. These include:
– Ram Charan’s RC16 directed by Buchi Babu Sana
– NTR’s international film with Prashanth Neel
– Prabhas’ emotional drama helmed by Hanu Raghavapudi
– Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh directed by Harish Shankar
– Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming project

The announcement sparked enthusiasm among fans especially regarding Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh.

There has been significant speculation that Ustaad Bhagat Singh is a remake of Vijay’s Tamil film Theri which was dubbed as Policodu in Telugu. Since Policodu has been aired numerous times on Telugu channels many fans criticized the idea of a remake.

As an indirect reply to these concerns, Ravi Shankar provided much needed clarity. He said, “Harish Shankar has locked an extraordinary script for Ustaad Bhagat Singh. The film will commence shooting this year and hit the screens next year.” His words reassured Pawan Kalyan fans are now hopeful that it is not a remake.Meanwhile another major highlight from Ravi Shankar’s announcement was about NTR’s collaboration with Prashanth Neel. He described the project as “international” and emphasized that it would exceed all expectations. “Whatever you imagine, this project will go beyond that level,”he confidently stated.
